The scope of this project included a kitchen / breakfast room remodel and expansion. The kitchen work was part of a larger, whole house remodel. The homeowner’s needs and objectives included converting their spaces into a functional, spacious high-end kitchen and light-filled informal dining area.
 
The homeowner was a restaurant owner who was demanding of excellence and thoughtful, working kitchen layout. They envisioned a rich and handsomely colorful palette unlike their commercial kitchens, although fitted-out with professional-grade appliances they knew and trusted.
 
Although the custom flush cabinets were simple in design, the deep burgundy stain adds a richness of palette, complimented by stainless hardware and professional appliances, engineered countertops, and Italian accent lighting of stainless and glass.
 
The result is a well-organized, spacious and handsomely contemporary kitchen. Although it incorporates durable, hard-working surfaces and equipment, it is unmistakably residential.
