The owner of this home spent a great deal of time in Scandinavian countries and wanted a very open bathroom design and an interesting mix of materials in a relatively small space to reflect the Scandinavian style.

A mix of mosaic tile, glass and glass-look materials, plastic laminate and metals were used. Warmth was introduced by the use of natural cork flooring, complemented by the copper tones of the soffit cladding.

“The layout is beautiful,” the judges said. “They made the bath a totally different place.”
